What role will social networking have in the classroom?

I have been hearing a lot lately about how we need to incorporate social networking and online classes into our brick and mortar classrooms. I'm just wondering where you see these applications in our classrooms in the near future.

WSRA Convention and beyond: Welcome to this Ning!

This was my second year at the WSRA convention, and in so many ways, it is better than an NCTE national convention. That really is a complement to WSRA, a state organization kept vital primarily through volunteer efforts. As a member of the Reading and Technology committee, my focus is technology in education.
